What data we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We also request read-only access to your YouTube channel data and analytics to provide our services.

How we use your data

Your YouTube data is used exclusively to display analytics, generate insights, and power AI-driven recommendations within the app. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

YouTube API Services

I am Creator uses YouTube API Services. By using our app, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely in encrypted cloud databases. API responses are cached temporarily to reduce API usage and improve performance. OAuth tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser.

AI processing

When you use AI-powered features (keyword research, title generation, SEO optimization), your video metadata may be sent to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter) depending on your settings. Only the metadata you explicitly submit is shared, and only for generating your requested analysis.

Revoking access

You can revoke I am Creator's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions. Upon revocation, we will delete your stored tokens and cached data.

Analytics

We use PostHog (EU-hosted) for product analytics to understand how features are used and improve the product. No personal data is shared with advertising networks.
